Learning with emotions
One of the most important findings of neuroeducation in the last ten years has been the importance of emotions with learning:

(Finland till 2020)
In 1997 (in Spanish) and 1999 (in German) and 2002 (in English) I promoted a crosscurricular project-oriented approach to teaching and learning in my essay "Los colegios del Futuro" (see link: Aufsätze/Essays) . And in 2000 I intended in vain to found a school which followed this concept (see link : Eine andere Schule). It seems that now, after 20 years (!) more and more countries will be changing their education system accordingly.
Especially in Latin America there has been an intensive discussion on new ways of schooling:
La Educación Prohibida
and the Spanish author Alfredo Hernando has published a book called
"Viaje a la Escuela del Siglo XXI"
which can be downloaded from FUNDACIÓN TELEFÓNICA (MADRID in Spanish and in English
which gives an excellent overview of alternative school projects worldwide.
In comparison there are not many initiatives towards a new school in Germany. Gerald Hüther makes a difference.Ein großartiges Interview mit Professor Gerald Hüther:
Another excellent interview with GERALD HÜTHER in which he explains what recent brain research has shown us and how we should chage society and education (in German)
