50 jähriges Dienstjubiläum
Und immer wieder Schule
Seit meinen ersten Lebensjahren im Dorfschulhaus als Sohn eines Dorfschullehrers, hatte ich sieben Jahrzehnte lang immer etwas mit Schule zu tun.
• Als Lehrer für Deutsch, Deutsch als Fremdsprache, Englisch, Philosophie, Darstellendes Spiel, Spanisch und Musik im In- und Ausland
• als Fachleiter an der Schule für Englisch
• als Ausbilder für Referendare und Studienleiter für Spanisch am Landesinstitut für Schule und Ausbildung in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
• als Prüfungsvorsitzender des Ministeriums beim ersten und zweiten Staatsexamen
• als Schulleiter an einer deutsch-ekuadorianischen und einer deutsch-mexikanischen Auslandsschule
• als Lehrbeauftragter für DaF und deutsche Geschichte an der Universität in Bremen und in Kairo
• als Fachberater für DaF des Goethe-Instituts in Ägypten und Zentralafrika
• als Fortbilder am Fortbildungsinstitut in MV und an Schulen in Deutschland und im Ausland
• als Dezernent und Referent für Fremdsprachen in der Schulverwaltung in MV
• als Mitglied und Chairman des Boards einer amerikanischen internationalen Schule in Kamerun (ASOY)
• als Referent am Bildungsministerium in MV und
• als Beauftragter der Kultusministerkonferenz für deutsche Schulen im Ausland und Prüfungsbeauftragter für das nördliche Südamerika und Ägypten
In 50 Dienstjahren habe ich im In- und Ausland an der Hauptschule, der Realschule, dem Gymnasium, der Berufsschule, der Gesamtschule und der Universität unterrichtet und war 25 Jahre in der Lehrerfortbildung und Schulverwaltung tätig.
Von meiner Geburtsstadt Schwäbisch Hall führte mich mein Weg über mein Studium in Tübingen auf verschiedene Posten in Hechingen, Tübingen, Bremen, Lima/Peru, wieder Bremen, Shanghai/China, Kairo/Ägypten, Schwerin, Guayaquil/Ecuador, wieder Schwerin, Yaoundé/Kamerun und wieder nach Schwerin.
Und dann nach 41 Jahren noch einmal ‚back to the roots‘ nach Vientiane/ Laos, Ciudad de México/ México, Ciudad de Panamá/ Panamá , Valencia/Spanien und Caracas/Venezuela.

50th anniversary of service
And school again and again
Since my first years in the village schoolhouse as the son of a village school teacher, I have always had something to do with school for seven decades.
- As a teacher of German, German as a Foreign Language, English, Philosophy, Performing Arts, Spanish and Music in Germany and abroad.
- as the responsible for English at a school
- as trainer for student teachers and head of studies for Spanish at the State Institute for School and Education in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
- as examination chairman of the Ministry of Education MV for the first and second state examinations
- as principal at a German-Ecuadorian and a German-Mexican school abroad
- as lecturer for DaF and German history at the University in Bremen and in Cairo
- as a consultant for DaF of the Goethe-Institut in Egypt and Central Africa
- as an instructor at the Institute for Further Education and at schools in Germany and abroad
- as a department head and consultant for foreign languages in the school administration
- as member and chairman of the board of an American international school in Cameroon (ASOY)
- as a consultant at the Ministry of Education in MV and
- as a representative of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany for German schools abroad and as an examination officer for northern South America and Egypt.
In 50 years of service, I have taught in Germany and abroad at Hauptschule, Realschule, Gymnasium, vocational school, comprehensive school, and university, and was active in teacher training and school administration for 25 years.
From my birthplace Schwäbisch Hall, my path led me via my studies in Tübingen to various posts in Hechingen, Tübingen, Bremen, Lima/Peru, Bremen again, Shanghai/China, Cairo/Egypt, Schwerin, Guayaquil/Ecuador, Schwerin again, Yaoundé/Cameroon and back to Schwerin.
And then after 41 years once again ‚back to the roots‘ to Vientiane/ Laos, Ciudad de México/ México, Ciudad de Panamá/ Panamá, Valencia/Spain, Caracas/Venezuela.

50 años como profesor y administrador escolar
Y siempre la escuela de nuevo
Desde mis primeros años en una escuela rural , como hijo de un maestro de escuela del pueblo, siempre he tenido algo que ver con la escuela durante siete décadas.
- Como profesor de alemán, alemán como lengua extranjera, inglés, filosofía, artes escénicas, español y música en el país y en el extranjero.
- como responsable de la asignatura de inglés en un colegio
- como formador de profesores en prácticas y jefe de estudios de español en el Instituto Estatal de Escuelas y Formación de Mecklemburgo-Pomerania Occidental
- como presidente de examen del Ministerio para el primer y segundo examen estatal
- como director de un colegio germano-ecuatoriano y otro germano-mexicano en el extranjero
- como profesor de DaF e historia alemana en la Universidad de Bremen y en El Cairo
- como asesor del DaF del Goethe-Institut en Egipto y África Central
- como instructor en el Instituto de Perfeccionamiento y en escuelas de Alemania y del extranjero
- como jefe de departamento y asesor de lenguas extranjeras en la administración escolar en MV
- como miembro y presidente del consejo de administración de una escuela internacional americana en Camerún (ASOY)
- como consultor en el Ministerio de Educación en MV y
- como representante de la Conferencia Permanente de los Ministros de Educación y Asuntos Culturales de los Länder de la República Federal de Alemania para los colegios alemanes en el extranjero y como examinador para el norte de Sudamérica y Egipto.
En 50 años de servicio he enseñado en Alemania y en el extranjero en la Hauptschule, la Realschule, el Gymnasium, la escuela de formación profesional, la escuela comprensiva y la universidad, y estuve activo durante 25 años en la formación de profesores y la administración escolar.
Desde mi lugar de nacimiento, Schwäbisch Hall, mi camino me llevó, a través de mis estudios en Tübingen, a diversos puestos en Hechingen, Tübingen, Bremen, Lima/Perú, de nuevo Bremen, Shanghai/China, El Cairo/Egipto, Schwerin, Guayaquil/Ecuador, de nuevo Schwerin, Yaoundé/Camerún y de nuevo a Schwerin.
Y luego, después de 41 años, una vez más „de vuelta a las raíces“ para
Vientiane/ Laos, Ciudad de México/ México, Ciudad de Panamá/ Panamá, Valencia/España y Caracas/Venezuela.
En mi autobiografía (sólo hasta 2006, necesita ser reeditada y completada) cuento seis décadas en cuatro continentes y los altibajos de la vida de un profesor.
